At about age 15 we moved to the big city.
My life changed the moment we landed in KC.
It seems that all the kids liked to make fun of us country hicks. I didn't care that much because I felt good about moving from the city.
I had a pretty good self image so that didn't hurt much.
I spent a couple of years there and then I joined the U.S. Air Force.
Thats was when I really started getting high.

I was lucky to get out of the service with a good discharge because I was spending a lit of time drinking when I should have been getting a better education.
When I got out of the service in 1961, I was blessed to get a good job with the Rail Road.
There is a lot to say to get to the part of my life where I was at rock bottom, so I put it all on cassete tape so it can be heard over and over again.
